A shop-vac gets the visible puddle. Our Water Extraction process is built for what's still soaking into materials underneath, which is where the real damage lives.

Different surfaces hold water differently — concrete, hardwood, and carpet pad each need their own extraction technique and dwell time, not a single generic approach applied to all three.
We'd rather explain the water extraction process clearly upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Truck-mount capacity handles larger losses without slowing down partway through.
We test multiple points across the affected area before calling extraction complete.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
You know the number before extraction starts, based on what we actually find.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
We adjust technique for engineered versus solid hardwood, since they respond differently to moisture.
Pad gets extracted independently from the carpet surface, since it retains water far longer.
Slab surfaces absorb and release moisture on a different timeline than wood subfloor.
We flag salvageable contents before starting so you're not guessing what to keep.
We don't sign off on extraction without a documented reading behind it.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
A real person answers, asks a few fast questions, and routes the nearest available crew.
The truck that arrives is stocked specifically for Water Extraction jobs, not a generic handyman setup.
The assessment sets the whole plan, so we don't rush it even when the visible damage looks minor.
Work continues until the job meets our documented completion standard, verified before we call it done.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.
"They pulled water from between our hardwood boards without warping them further, which I honestly didn't think was possible."
Jasper L., West Harrison"They tested pad separately from carpet, which caught moisture I would've missed entirely."
Rosalind P., West Harrison"Extraction from our finished basement slab was handled with a completely different approach than I expected, and they explained why."
Micah S., West Harrison"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., West Harrison"Extraction under a built-in bookshelf unit was handled without us having to empty and move it ourselves first."
Zora P., West HarrisonThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Our water extraction coverage spans 10604, with crews positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying West Harrison address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
Service boundaries are based on realistic response time, not an arbitrary line on a map.
